Adventure
Every few puzzles, a square with a red border hides a letter. The letters you collect spell out the treasure message: the book isn't a pile of exercises, it's one story to walk through.
Word searches, crosswords, mazes, sudoku and secret codes for children aged 6 to 8. Some puzzles hide a letter: collect them all and you reach the treasure.
Why read it
Every few puzzles, a square with a red border hides a letter. The letters you collect spell out the treasure message: the book isn't a pile of exercises, it's one story to walk through.
Five different kinds of puzzle — word searches, crosswords, mazes, sudoku, secret codes — that take turns and get harder page after page, from rookie to champion.
Big squares made for small hands, words a child that age can already read, and all the answers at the back: they can check their own work without asking.
Real pages, not mockups
On the left, a story to read, with the words in colour; on the right, the crossword built from those same words. Every book has twenty-two pairs like this.

The same layout in every book: the world changes, the five kinds of puzzle stay, and so do the treasure hunt and the certificate at the end.

The thread that ties the book together
One square has a red border and a little star in the corner: that's where the clue is hiding.
Under the square there's a box to note it in. Around twenty puzzles out of ninety give up a letter, spread from the first page to the last.
The letters you collect spell out the final message. Whoever gets there fills in the certificate with their own name.
Inside every book
You start as a rookie and finish as a champion: in the word search the words start hiding diagonally and backwards, the free letters get fewer, the mazes get trickier, the sudoku move from shapes to numbers. All the answers are at the back, so a child can check their own work.
See the booksThe series has only just come out. The first words from readers, parents and teachers will show up here: we only publish them when they are real and signed.
